Zaha Hadid
Zaha Hadid

Zaha Hadid (1950–2016) is an unconventional architect who started her career as an outsider, Hadid’s pioneering vision redefined architecture for the 21st century and captured imaginations across the globe. In 2004, Hadid became the first woman to be awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize. She’s part of the small club of only six women who have been awarded the prize to this day. Zaha Hadid was made a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II in 2012, and in February 2016, she received the Royal Gold Medal.

Tadao Ando
Tadao Ando

Born in the Japanese city of Osaka in 1941, Tadao Ando is an award-winning contemporary architect who's best known for his minimalist concrete structures. He often uses concrete planes to play with light and space while harmonizing the building with its natural surroundings. As a self-taught architect, Ando established his own firm, Tadao Ando Architect & Associates, in 1969. He has taught as a visiting professor at several universities, including Yale and Harvard, and since 1997 he has been on the faculty of the University of Tokyo, where he's now a professor emeritus. In 1995, Ando won the Pritzker Prize for architecture, cand he donated the US$100,000 prize money to the orphans of the 1995 Kobe earthquake.

DAIICHI supplied 23,000m² aluminum cladding with Italy Menphis outdoor wood effect coating by high temperature vacuum transfer printing technology.
Paul Andreu
Paul Andreu

Paul Andreu (1938–2018) was a French architect, known for his designs of multiple airports such as Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, and multiple prestigious projects in China, including the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. In 2011, Andreu became dean emeritus and chair professor of the Architecture Department at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China, where he taught three months per year. In 2015 and 2016, he was a member of the Prix Versailles judges panel.

Adrian Smith
Adrian Smith

Adrian Smith, an American architect, was born in Chicago in 1944. He designed the world's tallest structure, Burj Khalifa, as well as the building projected to surpass it, the Jeddah Tower. Projects designed by Smith have won over 125 awards including 5 international awards, 9 National American Institute of Architects Awards, 35 State and Chicago AIA Awards, and 3 Urban Land Institute Awards for Excellence. He was the recipient of the CTBUH 2011 Lynn S. Beedle Lifetime Achievement Award. Smith's work at SOM has been featured in museums in the United States, South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He is a Senior Fellow of the Design Futures Council.
